WHO WE ARE

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia, Inc. (APABA-VA) is a diverse and non-partisan association of attorneys and those interested in matters of importance to the Asian Pacific American legal community. Our mission is to foster professional development, legal scholarship, advocacy and community involvement and to promote justice, equality and opportunity for Asian Pacific Americans and those who may seek our voice.

APABA-VA is to open to those with Asian heritage or who have Asian Pacific American interest, regardless of heritage. The only criteria are the study, teaching or practice of law combined with a commitment to improve the lives of all Virginians, including those within the Asian Pacific American community. Membership in APABA-VA automatically includes membership in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and joins us with over 40,000 Asian Pacific American attorneys nationwide.
